India’s mushroom industry in numbers

Why it exists

Most growers solve everything alone.

The distance between a grower’s shed and a global industry closes in three days.

Spawn that underperforms and nobody to ask why. A climate room that swings four degrees overnight and a supplier who does not call back. A clean crop, and then no buyer paying what it is worth.

India Mushroom Days puts the people who fix those things in one hall and lets you walk up to them. Spawn producers, compost makers, climate engineers, researchers, buyers. Three days, no gatekeepers.

Held in association with Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women and the Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Discover · Connect · Expand

Three days, three things to walk away with.

01

Discover

Walk the expo floor and see the equipment working instead of reading a brochure. Compost systems, climate control, refrigeration, packaging, spawn. Ask the price out loud.

02

Connect

More than twenty-five speakers from over twenty countries, and a room full of people running the same problems as you. The corridor conversations are the reason people come back.

03

Expand

Leave with the supplier, the technique, or the buyer you came for. Growers who came as visitors in one year have come back as exhibitors in the next.

Exhibit

Show it to the people who buy it

The floor fills with growers who came to spend. They arrive with a problem already written down: a compost line at capacity, a room that will not hold humidity, a packing step still done by hand.

If you sell the answer to one of those, this is the shortest route to the person holding the budget. No cold calls, no gatekeepers, three days of direct conversations.

  • Direct access to a targeted, buying audience
  • Stand in front of decision-makers, not their inbox
  • Demonstrate equipment running, not on a slide
  • Meet distributors for regions you do not cover yet

Before you ask

The questions people send us

Who actually turns up?

Growers running one room and growers running twenty. Spawn producers, compost makers, equipment manufacturers, refrigeration and climate suppliers, researchers, buyers, and students, from more than twenty countries. The last edition filled the main hall.

I run a small farm. Is this only for the big operations?

No. Whether you are a grower, a researcher, an entrepreneur or simply curious, the event is built for you. Plenty of the room is small and mid-size growers, and the suppliers are there to sell to them too.

Is the conference the same ticket as the expo?

They are booked separately. Visitor registration gets you onto the expo floor. Conference registration gets you a seat in the sessions. Take both if you want both.

Can I exhibit if I am a small supplier?

Yes. The exhibitor application is open to any company in the mushroom supply chain, and a small stand in front of the right audience beats a large one in front of the wrong audience. Sponsorship is a separate application if you want your name on the whole three days.

When is the full agenda published?

The dates are set: 19, 20 and 21 February 2027 in New Delhi. The session-by-session programme is published ahead of the event and goes to registered attendees by email first. To be told the moment it lands, send a line to info@indiamushroomdays.in.

Where is it held?

New Delhi, as in previous editions. The venue and hall are confirmed shortly and go out to everyone registered.
